Bonsai as Fine Art

The exhibition at Blue Spiral 1 included 20 bonsai creations by professional bonsai artists and members of the Blue Ridge Bonsai Society. ​Unique bonsai compositions were displayed alongside paintings and other works from Blue Spiral 1 artists as part of its “Beyond the Horizon” show.

Participating bonsai artists include: Bjorn Bjorholm, Danny Coffey, John Geanangel, Arthur Joura, and Brad Russell.

Bonsai comes indoors and heads to Blue Spiral 1 for an extraordinary ten-day Bonsai as Fine Art exhibition; the first of its kind in Asheville.

Held June 2 - 11, 2023, Bonsai as Fine Art was an exhibition and series of special events sponsored by Blue Spiral 1 Gallery, The North Carolina Arboretum, and The Blue Ridge Bonsai Society.
